Who we are
At HydroMarine Global, we have a firm belief that although climate change is irreversible, some of its effects can be alleviated through the sum of individual behaviour and public policies, and even believe that there is still time to reverse it. This growing concern about the climate crisis has called us to take centre stage to lead the African continent towards ending this scourge that is about to incinerate us.
Our approach to climate action is to marshal every individual in this continent, young or old to join the race in alleviating the effects of climate change.Indeed our motto “The little things matter” is a reflection of our conviction that even small actions by individuals, households, corporates and governments are necessary in climate action. HydroMarine Global’s approach to combating climate change is to get every single individual to take their own initiative in joining the race to net zero.

Focus
We are focused on solving climate change real life problems. We also work on complementary solutions that help us work together in our communities and foster a more collaborative environment.
Optimism
In the face of challenges, we choose optimism — that people are good, that democracy can work, that we can solve climate change, and that we are greater than our flaws. Optimism turns our concern about climate change into action.
Diversity
We empower everyone in exercising their environmental conservation activities regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, religion, ability, or political affiliation. We continue to bring awareness of important issues to all our volunteers and foster a sense of belonging to our organization.
Relationships
We take the most generous approach to other people as possible — appreciation, gratitude, and respect. We listen, we work to find common ground, and we endeavor to understand our own biases. We are honest and firm.
Integrity
Our approach is thoughtful and thorough. We are prepared — we consult experts, use data, and solicit feedback before forming opinions or making decisions. We follow up; keep on going even when it’s hard. People know that they can count on us to be consistent and to do what we say we will do.
Being Nonpartisan
Our initiative is open to anyone who is serious about solving climate change. We work with elected officials and community leaders from across the political spectrum because we believe that everyone is a potential ally.
Personal Power
We use our voices to be heard. This simple act transforms us from spectators to engaged citizens. Each of us is essential to solving climate change.
